One Must Go For All, All Must Go For One by Akinwale Peace

One Must Go For All, All Must Go For One.
....
....
When a farm goes aflame, the flakes fly home
to bear the tale; for one goes, one come home-
But as Elephant weeps for lacking teeth,
Wild Bears poke the ground with their gnashing teeth;
What if the wicked are fire, the world would have
been beautifully burnt with their rave halve-
But a burnt palace could reflect beauty
and sugarcane has no place of safety,
Why then doth the lazy hiss when day breaks?
when clanging pots must fight hard when day breaks.
A little oil can mar a sweet river
ev'n when the bank spurs the flow of river.
A stone thrown in anger can't kill a bird
but the chirp of the Brooks can call a bird-
Why then doth dryness of land birth hotness?
While hotness must come to birth rich wetness;
The bitter wind that blows from North to South
is a blessing to the land in the South-
For if all must work for one, one must fail
all and if mist must fall, the dew must fail.
If yam isn't eaten for oil, the oil
will be eaten for yam which wasn't boil'd.

FABLE 1

THE LOCAL HENS AND THE CHICKENS.
Once upon a time, a woman has a big store for her chickens. The chickens are so big that they give big and good eggs everytime they release eggs. The woman fed them so much that they were weighty even after releasing eggs.
One day, a customer brought some local hens to her, she said
"Try them, they are also good hens. They give big eggs as well. You'll enjoy keeping and feeding them."

The woman collected them and added them with his chickens. The chickens and the local hens stayed together in a place.
One day, the woman gave them the normal food they eat, as the chickens pecked their food moderately, the local hens scattered it with their legs as they peck, they scattered it around and peck, they did that till they liter the whole place.
Mother hen looked at the chickens,
"We're the same now, we eat the same food. We will yield the same eggs, we will be on the postal too."

BOOK: SANE SANDS OF DUSTY DAWN | | in honour of Late Pa Adeniran Adefemi.

BOOK: SANE SANDS OF DUSTY DAWNin honour of Late Pa Adeniran Adefemi.
Today, songs by Banners welcomed me, and just then, I was brought to the knowledge of this post which I'd forgotten.
It is sad, it is disheartening yet overtime, it has come to my psychological reasoning that Joseph, best known as Prince Joe is recovering from this saddening occurrence and I feel he has been encouraged. He needs cheerful people around him, not people that will bring such memories...
However, it is pertinent to note that when you have people around you, know that you don't have dirty clothes. And if you don't have people, know that you are not alone, you only need to move closer to those you think hate you. Trust me, they can follow you into the storm, stand and fall with you, you can count on them...friends can, only if you move closer to them.
Life and death are two parallel lines, you either die or live. We do not want to die but we deserve death, because since we are born, what d…
