If I Could Buy Beauty.
I would paint the wings of the birds
with colours as of 'holi' day,
I would paint the sky with bright herds
of 'adire' like sorts of clay.
I would paint the sun with starlish
blue when dawn creeps. As for the stars,
I would paint its ray as bab'ish_
that the moon would shine as day ares.
I would paint the eye with white blue
I would paint the palms in love's lines
I would paint the face in sky blue
I would paint the earth with sort d'signs.
If I could buy beauty, I would
make the ugly beautiful and
make the Charmings' pride ugly, would
it be desperate, sort of-hand?
If I could buy beauty, with me,
I would make the birds coloured-filled
like green grass on a field, in me_
I would make the earth green grass field.
