The Night Is The Heart Of The Soul.
.
The night is lonely 'neath the sky
In cloudy gaze of sundry eye,
The heavens praise in lullaby
Of earth greatness for days gone by.
The blue stars wink like eye lashes
The shadowed moon ray on grasses
The bird has gone a-rest neath eaves
And man's a snail beneath Sky's leaves
like green snakes beneath green leaves, the
breeze that awes the wander'ng lips, the
waves that soothes the gentle skin, the
daily wand'r rest at night; with thee.
Thee that glows in rad'ance of darkness,
Thee that charms the space with calmness,
Thee whose billows bid men goodness
with stars filed up in abruptness.
The night's ray is as a black coal
That shines brightly like blacksmith's coal
The night is ripe for every soul
The night is the heart of the soul.
